Sidharada completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Vasavi College of Engineering (Osmania University Hyderabad) followed by a M.Tech. in Manufacturing Engineering from the National Institute of Foundry and Forging Technology, Ranchi. He was an Asst. Professor at NIMRA College of Engineering, affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad from 2000 to 2004. He joined the institute for a Ph.D. in 2004 and completed in August 2014.

 

His thesis was titled "Synthesis and characterization of Intermetallic and Quasi approximants coatings processed by laser Cladding and Novel ball milling approach" under the guidance of Prof. Chattopadhyay.
