Sherine completed her Bachelor of Sciences in Chemistry from Baselius College, Kottayam
(Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam) in
March 2005. Subsequently she did M.Sc. in Chemistry from C M S College, Kottayam (Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam) in June 2007 followed by a M.Tech in Nano Medical Science from
Amrita Centre For Nanosciences(ACNS), Kochi (
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeeth) in
June 2010. She was at Advanced Research Institute for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials, Hyderabad (ARCI Hyderabad) from September 2010 to July 2011 as a Senior ARCI Fellow. In August 2011, she joined the institute for a Ph.D.
Currently she is working on Reflective Self Cleaning Coatings for Solar Applications under the joint guidance of Prof. Chattopadhyay and Prof. Bikramjit Basu (Materials Research Center,, Indian Institute of Science).
