Sanjay completed his B.Sc in 2000 from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla followed by a M.Sc. in Physics from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. He further did a M.Tech. in Materials Science in 2004. He joined the institute in 2005 for a PhD and completed in July 2011.

 

He thesis was titled Studies on Bulk and Multilayer Composites of Nb-Si Alloys.

 

After spending time at AMES Lab, Iowa State University, USA and Indian Institute of Technology Madras as a Post Doctoral Fellow, he returned to the group as a Research associate in February 2015.
