Prafull completed his Bachelors of Technology in Metallurgical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Raipur in the year 2010 followed by which he joined the group for a Master of Engineering. He graduated in July 2012. Subsequently he joined the group for a PhD in August 2013.

 

His masters' thesis was titled " Effects of minute additions of ternary elements on the morphology and solidification behaviour of the Sn-Zn eutectic alloys".

 

Currently he is working under the joint guidance of Prof. Chattopadhyay and Prof. Chandan Srivastava (Department of Materials Engineering, Indian Institute of Science).
