Kirtiman is a Master of Sciences in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. In August 2008, he joined Indian Institute of Science for a PhD and completed in August 2014.

 

His thesis was titled Synthesis of multiphase nanoparticles by laser ablation in liquid medium and their characterization under the guidance of Prof. Chattopadhyay.
