Jai Prakash completed his Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology Ranchi in year 2009. Subsequently he joined the institute for a master of engineering and graduated in 2011.

 

His thesis was titled Study of Sliding friction induced Subsurface deformation of Crystalline (Al) and Quasicrystalline (Al₆₅Cu₁₅Co₂₀) materials.

 

Currently he is an Examiner of Patents & Designs at the Patent Office, Chennai, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Goverment of India. He can be reached at jpmaterials09@gmail.com.
