Dulal is a Scientist C at the Center for Non-Oxide Ceramics, International Advanced Research Center for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI). He joined the institute for a Ph.D. in 2007 and completed in March 2015.

 

He worked under the joint supervision of Prof. Chattopadhyay and Dr. G. Sundararajan (Advanced Research Center for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI), Hyderabad) and his thesis was titled "Dense and Porous SiC Ceramics processed through Aqueous Gel-Casting and Studies of Densification Kinetics".
