Chandan completed his Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in 2011 from Birsa Institute of Technology, Sidnri, Dhanbad. He was a GET at Hindustan Moters Ltd. from July 2011 to March 2012. Subsequently he joined the institute for a M.E. in August 2012.
