Kiran completed Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgical Engineering from Andhra University in April 2013. He completed his Master of Technology in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) in May 2015 after which he joined the institute for a Ph.D.
He is working under the joint guidance of Prof. Chattopadhyay and Prof. Abhik N Chaudhury.
