bringing together students, researchers, and faculty across the division. This 2-day symposium was thoughtfully structured around four thematic research sessions that transcended departmental boundaries:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>High-Temperature Materials<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wind Tunnel Technologies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data-Driven Mechanics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engineering BTech for the Future<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Alongside these technical sessions, the event featured a vibrant poster presentation session, where nearly 100 students showcased their ongoing research projects, encouraging valuable discussions and collaborations. We are especially grateful for the unwavering support and hard work of Prof. Debashish Roy from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, who worked closely with our organizing team to ensure the event&#8217;s success. The 3-minute research video contest was one of the highlights of the symposium, where students showcased their creativity along with scientific and technical expertise. This competition was specially judged by non-IISc faculty members and experts from the film industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the symposium, the Dean of Mechanical Sciences Division, Prof. Gondi Kondaiah Ananthasuresh, shared a heartfelt appreciation message:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;Dear All,<br>Thanks to your efforts in the background, we had an enriching symposium.<br>Debashish and Sachin led the effort. It was heartening to see their enthusiasm and commitment and, of course, that of all of you. The session coordinators&#8217; hard work was evident in the quality of the talks and the satisfaction expressed by the speakers. The poster session went off well. The culminating event&#8221;\u201dthe 3-min research video contest&#8221;\u201dsurely went up one notch above last year&#8217;s.
