Bio:
He completed his M.Tech. in VLSI Design from the Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta (2023–25), where he worked on doped ZnO thin films with embedded silver nanoparticle layers to study enhanced negative differential resistance (NDR) and UV–blue photodetection performance. He also earned an M.Sc. in Electronic Science (2023) from the University of Calcutta, where he worked on the growth and characterization of ZnO nanowires. In August 2025, he joined IISc Bengaluru as a doctoral researcher in the Department of Materials Engineering. His current research focuses on low-dimensional halide perovskites for next-generation optoelectronic devices, with broader interests in thin-film fabrication and nanostructured materials for energy and sensing applications. His work includes molecular synthesis of spacer cations to tailor 2D perovskite structures, along with the fabrication and characterization of 2D/3D perovskite solar device architectures.
