About the Role :

Are you passionate about pushing the boundaries of science and engineering?
We are seeking a visionary Principal Project Associate to lead groundbreaking research in mass and heat transfer computational modelling in particularly related to the reduction of iron ore using Hydrogen/ Syngas.

This role is a unique opportunity to:

⤷ Develop advanced heat and mass transfer codes for metallurgical/chemical processes involving packed beds.
⤷ Mentor and guide the next generation of postgraduate students.

Who We're Looking For :

⤷ A Ph.D. holder in Chemical, Metallurgy, Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, Physics, or related fields.
⤷ Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
⤷ Expertise in modelling reaction kinetics, mass and heat transfer.
⤷ Commitment to a minimum of 9 months, with a passion for long-term contribution.

Desirable Skills :

⤷ Experience with parallel computing.
⤷ OpenFoam
⤷ Modelling of multiphase flows.
⤷ An academic spirit, eager to explore and publish.

What We Offer :

⤷ A competitive monthly salary in the range of INR 70,000 – 80,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
⤷ An initial 1-year contract with the possibility of renewal based on performance.
